100 shout outs

Well, this is my 100th post on the blog I started two months after I moved to Milford, PA.

Most of it has been self-absorbed fun and analyses of topics that no one could possibly care about but me. Now that my topic of discussion has boiled down to my centiscriptal celebration, self-absorption has reached saturation, and "most" has become "all".

Katherine and I are approaching 10 months. For me to go into any detail about how happy I am would just disgust the hell out of all of you.
See, you can already picture it, can't you? I didn't even have to say anything.
10 months is a long time for me. I'm doing something right.

I say that I have to outgrow a place in order to move on, so I'll be in Milford for a little while, at the least. I think this winter is my time to chill out, figure out where I want to go with the following year, and build the next step.

24 is fast approaching.
NYC is calling.
I'll be armed with a book and a screenplay.
I'll take my mad editing skills.

By the time next July rolls around, things will be changing more rapidly. The city will be within reach. Once again I'll be in a scary world I know little about, and once again the monsters' teeth will shrink as I watch them jump and snarl around.

It's the same as all the other times.
It's the same as the Crimson Cat dream.

The fear disappears because I understand.
I hunt monsters.
It's a hot philosophy.
Unleash me to the world, seeking dragons.

Well, The closer you get to your fears, the scarier they look. Then something funny happens. You get right next to them and they look rather silly.

Here's to 100 more posts. Here's to the life adventurous.
